Kimono: Uniting two kingdoms

As part of a school assignment I challenged myself to make a clothing item based on the book we had to read. My book took place in a fantasy version of Asia and I decided to make a gown displaying the union between the two kingdoms.

I studied Fashion Design at the HKU for a semester. The pictures below are the designs I made and the real life versions. This semester I focused on Costume Design for a story I'm writing myself.
